Fishing for Mammals

At least one trillion fish are slaughtered each year for human consumption.  As End Animal Slaughter contributor Dr Lynley Tulloch writes, overfishing and by-kill caused by drift nets and bottom trawling has a devastating impact not only on individual fishes and and sea mammals, but also marine ecosystems.  (Photo credit: Laura Menaske)

    Thank you for posting about this. Fishing harms so many animals and in so many horrific ways. Those who want seafood should opt from the many marvelous vegan versions there are of virtually every type of seafood (and other foods) imaginable.
