Hi, I’m Danette, and I currently have the honour of serving as Co-Leader, along with Rob McNeil, of the Animal Justice Party of Aotearoa New Zealand. In my spare time, I rescue and care for wildlife, which is one of the most rewarding parts of my life. I recently co-founded a charity with two incredible legends in the animal world who continue to inspire and teach me every day. I’m also studying animal law papers, deepening my understanding of how to create real change for animals. With experience as a senior leader, I feel privileged to combine my professional background with my lifelong passion for animals and advocacy.
